DRSL'S
Effective Communication
This was one of my strongest essays for my English class. I think it shows really effective communication because I was able to introduce my claim for the prompt pretty clearly to the reader, showing what I thought was the most important thing the Greeks looked for in they're heroes. I also think that this assignment is just really communicable, and any random person could probably read it and know what I thought about Greek heroes and maybe be interested in reading the Odyssey.
Critical Thinking
I think that this assignment fits in with this Drsl because I really had to think critically to respond to the prompt that I was given. I had to recall the most important themes and events in the book to be able to adapt a claim, as well have effective reasons for my claim. I think I did pretty well at the end because after thinking deeply into what the most important thing the author was trying to voice to the reader about science in the book, I was able to make the paper more interesting and really voice my opinion and why I had developed it.
This video was an assignment for my Intro to Info. Tech class, showing my sort of mastery at Adobe Premiere. We were taught how to edit the video in many different ways and how to add different content. The way I think this ties into the DRSL, is that in real life, if I wanted to tell or show my friends or family some stories about a particular event in my life, I could just make a similar video, and use the knowledge I gained in this class to make the presentation neater and more interesting to whoever I'm showing it to.
