Effective Communication
I really think that this presentation is a very good assignment that shows how I've been able to effectively communicate information. This was made specifically for my health class, in which we were learning about mental diseases.
We were given a list of several mental diseases to choose from. We would then have to conduct scrupulous research on our choice and make a powerpoint based on our research. At first Tourette's Syndrome caught my attention but I decided to research Alzheimer's instead because I'd heard of it before but was really curious about how it really worked. Throughout my research I found some very intriguing facts, such as how common the disease is among the elderly today. While making my presentation I wanted to be very informative and in the end I think that the audience did learn a lot from it. This is why I think that it shows effective communication, because not only could I personally learn from the presentation but because the information that I presented was received well by the audience. |
